Paula Mattoso – Minnehaha Beachwear

Paula Mattoso was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1977.
She grew up inside the surf culture from Leblon and Ipanema surrounds, where she also studied Fashion Design. Paula proclaims her own brazilian life style and the femine side of surf as her main inspiration to design contemporary swimwear.
Inside the Fashion Industry for over 14 yrs, Paula can be considered as an emerging designer to the new international fashion scenery. Her innovative approach inside the swimwear category has been calling attention and it shows some really interesting and unique designs for swimsuits and bikinis. In this collection she worked mixing lycra with denim stretch and the silhouets are carefully balanced to transpass sensuality in a very elegant form. So the cuts are revealing details from swimsuits from the 50´s such as new and modern forms. The result is a beautiful collection, sexy yet classy, modern and romantic.
